Rye, sweet vermouth and cherry liqueur in an absinthe-rinsed glass: bold, dark and aromatic.

Steps

1. 1Pour the absinthe into a coupe, swirl to coat the inside and discard the excess.
2. 2Add the remaining ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice.
3. 3Stir until well chilled.
4. 4Strain into the absinthe-rinsed coupe.
5. 5Garnish with a lemon zest.
